As it always happens, this video picks up the "scraps" of Mia's first real laugh.
We really began to see more of her personality today. She was more active, alert, and engaging with me (and everyone). It truly is amazing to see how quickly she is rebounding from the trauma and shock of it all. Love astounds me.

A child's first laugh is always an amazing event. But somehow watching this little video really blessed me. We've had lots adopt overseas in our church and as in any adoption, I'm always overwhelmed by what God has done to bring freedom to these kids. Being chosen by God to be released from their circumstances and brought into a loving environment. Oh what could have been and now will never be. What a gift.
